PIHRA District 6 - South Bay
The Professionals in Human Resources Association (PIHRA) is a non-profit professional association dedicated to the enhancement of human resources through continual learning, networking and advocacy. Since 1944, our volunteer-led, non-profit [501(c)(6)] association has offered services to our members including professional networking, legal updates, leadership and professional development opportunities.
On November 18, 1959, PIHRA was chartered as Chapter 30 of the Society of Human Resources Managment (SHRM) and includes the counties of Ventura, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino. PIHRA District 6 - South Bay covers the area roughly from the Los Angeles International Airport south to the Palos Verdes Peninsula and east to the Harbor Freeway.
District 6 meets on the second Thursday of the month generally from 7:30 to 9:30 or 10:00 a.m. at the Ayres Hotel, 14400 Hindry Avenue, Hawthorne, CA 90250. Please go to the District website for additional information and our schedule of events.
