For the last decade and a half, we have facilitated an array of HR
management courses through universities, PIHRA and private engagements. In addition to prescheduled presentations,
training courses ranging from team building to preparation for the HRCI
examinations for the PHR, SPHR and California certifications can be arranged on

Mery Propster, SPHR currently specializes in organizational
change management through her consulting firm: Segue Solutions. She holds a
Bachelor of Science degree in Human Relations and Organizational Behavior from
the University of San Francisco and was awarded the lifetime SPHR designation
in 1996.
She is a long time member of both the Society for Human
Resource Management (SHRM) and Professionals in Human Resources Association
(PIHRA) and is the Immediate Past Chair of PIHRA District 6. Mrs.
Propster was awarded PIHRA's Excellence in Human Resources award in
2006.
Prior to retiring in 2000, she spent over two decades in
increasingly responsible Human Resources management positions with two Fortune
50 high-technology firms in California and Arizona.
Richard Propster, SPHR-CA, works with Mery in their human
resources and organizational change strategies consulting firm. He holds a Bachelor of Vocational Education
degree from California State University at Long Beach, masters degrees from
Pepperdine University and the Claremont Graduate University. He is certified as
a California Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR-CA) and has testified as an expert witness in the Los Angeles Superior Court. He is a member of the Society for Human
Resource Management (SHRM) and Immediate Past President of the Professionals in Human Resources Association
(PIHRA).
Prior to retiring in 1998, he dedicated thirty-one years to
municipal government including over two decades as a department head with
responsibility for a diverse population of over 100 employees and a
multi-million dollar budget. He has
taught at the adult school, post-secondary and university levels since the late
1960s.
