Our Motto
There are always options
Does the thought of merely updating your resume (much less contemplating a new job and exposing yourself to a series of interviews) cause you stress? There is a technical term for this reaction --it is called "normal."
My Career Strategy is designed to decrease these stressful feelings, increase your professional network, share best practices, provide practical advice and encircle you with supportive people who "have been there" - or maybe still are.
Whether you are unemployed, underemployed, in school or just curious, you are welcome to participate in My Carer Strategy meetings.
Our purpose is to support serious participants in assessing personal skill sets, envisioning a desirable future and charting a rational course toward that future.
Our goal is to help with self-assessment, fortify your self-confidence and shorten the quest for the future path that is right for you.
Our meetings are designed to assist those interested in:
• Finding employment commensurate with their abilities,
• Exploring options—within and beyond their current employer,
• Retooling their résumés
• Enhancing interviewing acumen, and/or
• Sharing with others who have these same interests.
Our meetings are on the last Tuesday of the month
from 6:30 PM to about 8:00 PM.
Our desire is to make these sessions useful
to as many participants as possible.
